About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Quality Manager to join our team at Mountain Healthcare Ltd. As a Forensic Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing an effective quality management system within our Sexual Assault Referral Centres.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders, including the Forensic Science Regulator and UKAS, to ensure smooth and effective external assessments of our forensic disciplines.
  • Reporting to top management on Quality Management Systems (QMS) status and areas in need of improvement.
  • Being the first point of contact for all communications relating to quality.
  • Informing customers, UKAS, and the Forensic Regulator of any significant non-conformances.
  • Implementing the QMS that meets accreditation quality standards, specifically the FSR Codes of Practice and ISO15189.
  • Planning and managing audit schedules, including internal and external audits.
  • Providing specialist advice and guidance on all matters appertaining to accreditation.
  • Ensuring the service we provide is fit for purpose, consistent, and meets both external and internal requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent level of qualification in a relevant subject and/or proven relevant work experience, alongside a qualification in project management/quality management.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Experience of providing high-quality documents, good computer skills, and document quality assurance and formatting.
  • Previous supervisor/managerial experience and excellent communication skills, verbally and in written format through reports to senior management.
