About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital part in ensuring the highest quality of parts leave our premises.

You will be responsible for quality checking a variety of metallic parts, including first off inspection and final inspection before sending them to various customers. The work can be varied, as we are a sub-contractor, and can range from one-off inspections to small batch runs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual inspections using a variety of hand tools, such as verniers and micrometres.
  • Operate and programme the CMM machine, with experience highly desirable but not essential if you are a strong manual inspector.
  • Inspect precision metallic parts and components with a keen eye for detail.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in manual inspection using hand tools.
  • Knowledge of precision metallic parts and components.
  • Experience with CMM machines, although training will be provided if necessary.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
