Forensic Quality Manager Opportunity at Mountain Healthcare Ltd

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Quality Manager to join our team at Mountain Healthcare Ltd. As a Forensic Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing an effective quality of service within our Sexual Assault Referral Centres.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS) that meets the requirements of ISO 15189 and the Forensic Science Regulators requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of quality specialists to ensure the successful implementation of the QMS.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS) and the Forensic Science Regulator (FSR), to ensure smooth and effective external assessments of our forensic disciplines.
  • Report to top management on QMS status and areas in need of improvement.
  • Inform customers, UKAS, and the FSR of any significant non-conformances.

About the Role

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent level of qualification in a relevant subject and/or proven relevant work experience, alongside a qualification in project management/quality management.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Forensic qualification.
  • Auditing certification.
  • Good understanding of governance within healthcare.
  • Experience of implementing ISO15189 or similar ISO accreditation.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001.
  • Auditing experience.
