Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Quality Manager to join our team at Mountain Healthcare Ltd. As a Forensic Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing an effective quality management system within our Sexual Assault Referral Centres, ensuring the successful implementation of a Quality Management System that adheres to the requirements of ISO 15189 and the Forensic Science Regulators requirements.

Main Duties
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), Forensic Science Regulator (FSR), and Forensic Service Providers.
  • Report to top management on Quality Management Systems (QMS) status and areas in need of improvement.
  • Be the first point of contact for all communications relating to quality.
  • Inform customers, UKAS, and the Forensic Regulator of any significant non-conformances.
  • Implement the QMS that meets accreditation quality standards, specifically the FSR Codes of Practice and ISO15189.
  • Plan and manage audit schedules, including internal horizontal, vertical, and method witness audits, and external surveillance audits for accreditation.
  • Provide the Head of Governance and Quality with up-to-date information on the progress of Corrective, Preventive, and Improvement actions.
  • Support all areas by providing specialist advice and guidance on all matters appertaining to accreditation.
  • Ensure the service provided by the organisation is fit for purpose, remains consistent, and meets both external and internal requirements.
