About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Epilepsy Youth Worker to join our Paediatric Epilepsy team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with epilepsy and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with young people, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify the needs of young people with epilepsy and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Provide education and support to young people and their families on epilepsy management, self-care, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to ensure seamless care coordination and access to community resources.
  • Supervise and mentor unqualified staff, including youth work students and volunteers, to ensure high-quality care and support.
