Residential services for adults, either living in accommodation at our 165 acres in Warford or in one of our houses in a local town or village in Cheshire.

Adult day opportunities which develop social and vocational skills with the potential to lead to employment opportunities.

Access to therapy, nursing, medical and behaviour support if appropriate to an individual’s needs.

David Lewis provides care 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Hence, the post does require working early, late and weekend shifts as required.

Package Description
**Night Team Leader (part time)**

**Crewe Area**

**2 shifts a week**

**working a 2 on 6 off rota**

**9pm to 7.45am**

Salary of £13647.86

plus 33% enhancements for nights

David Lewis is a registered charity and leading provider of education, residential and day services for people who have complex epilepsy, severe neurological conditions, learning and physical disabilities. Our main site is located near to Alderley Edge, Cheshire, David Lewis operates a special needs school, college, 30+ care homes, and a wide range of vocational training, work experience and leisure activities.

Under the guidance of the Residential Manager you will take change of shifts, managing a team of Support workers, one of our houses in the Crewe area, to deliver care packages that are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led.

The role will include:

- Administration and supervision of medication rounds
- Manage daily operational requirement of rotas,
- Complete and review Care Plans, risk assessments and goal setting with key team members
- Active membership of Multi Disciplinary Teams, liaising with staff, professionals, families and other stakeholders as appropriate.
- Participation in annual reviews and other reviews as required, including writing and presenting reports
- Line management responsibility, including performance management, supervisions and appraisals
- Substantial experience of providing care
- Understanding of CQC and Fundamental Standards
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Robust IT skills
- Strong planning and organizing skills
- People management
- Results driven
- Up-to-date knowledge of developments in the Care sector

**Salary Enhancements**:
Night and Weekend work paid at 1.3 times basic rate;
Up to 3 times basic rate for Bank Holidays

The chance to pick up overtime on a regular basis

**Shift times are as follows**:
9:00pm to 7:45am
