Position Overview

As a dedicated Support Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting children with special educational needs (SEN) who require additional support in their daily activities. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in education, youth work, or care services who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children facing challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to children with various SEN, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
  • Assist in the development of essential life skills through engaging activities, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to create a supportive environment that fosters growth and learning.
  • Utilize your skills to help children manage their behavior and navigate their emotional challenges.

Contract Details

  • Position: Support Care Specialist
  • Employment Type: Full-time and part-time options available
  • Compensation: Competitive daily rate starting at £100

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must:
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
