Job Title: Child Development Specialist

Kids Planet Day Nurseries Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Development Specialist to join our team in the Northeast / Yorkshire region.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Job Description:
  • The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of child development theories and practices, allowing them to provide expert support and guidance to early years practitioners.
  • They will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the progress of children in our nurseries, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Additionally, the candidate will work closely with early years settings to develop and implement effective training programmes, ensuring that all staff members are equipped to provide the highest standard of care.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practice in child development is essential for this role, as the candidate will be expected to share their knowledge with colleagues and contribute to the development of new initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of children in our nurseries, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Develop and implement effective training programmes for early years practitioners, ensuring that they are equipped to provide the highest standard of care.
  • Work closely with early years settings to improve outcomes for children, through regular monitoring and evaluation of progress.
