Young Person's Mental Health Specialist

This Young Person's Mental Health Specialist role involves providing psychologically informed services to young people and their care teams. The successful candidate will work in SHP's accommodation and support provision, delivering psychotherapy and counselling groups for young people.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the specialist will offer in-person interventions that are prevention-focused, including individual psychotherapy and group work. These sessions will be co-produced, informative, and enlightening on bio-social-physiological responses to trauma.
The contract is highly likely to be extended to 12 months after internal funding decisions have been made, and the salary is estimated to be around £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
