Job Description:

As the Director of Commercial Excellence, you'll lead the commercial function and be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.

This is a real 'roll your sleeves up' and get involved opportunity, where you will be very proactive in driving opportunities, be client facing and leading from the front.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Lead and inspire the sales team , fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with third party agencies and partners to deliver appropriate and targeted demand generation activities throughout the year.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities , aligning SMI's offerings with customer needs and market demands.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics , ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Liaise with legal advisors to resolve complex commercial legal issues. Strong understanding of the Client contract; identifying where contract amendments and renewals are required (working with Legal as necessary).
