Job Responsibilities

The Youth Care Specialist will be responsible for providing care and support to young people in a residential setting, including creating a safe and nurturing environment, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being, and supporting them in achieving their goals. The role involves working on an 8-week rolling rota, averaging 37 hours per week, and includes evening, weekend, and sleep-in shifts. The successful candidate must be over 21 years old and undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Requirements
  1. Experience in childcare or a related field;
  2. A level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field;
  3. Ability to work on an 8-week rolling rota, including evening, weekend, and sleep-in shifts;
  4. Enhanced DBS clearance;
  5. Over 21 years old.
