About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our IT support group at the University of Oxford as a Senior Exam Projects Supervisor. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support within the Student Assessments section, working closely with colleagues from across the university.

The role is varied and involves planning and supporting the running of student assessments, ensuring the smooth delivery of an effective service. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in several operational areas, including examination timetabling, invigilation management, student supports, exam paper management, and assessment policy and process review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Student Assessments section
  • Plan and support the running of student assessments
  • Work closely with colleagues from across the university
  • Gain experience in several operational areas, including examination timetabling and invigilation management
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience working in a student-focused/customer service environment
  • Strong IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Student Systems (eVision/SITS)
  • Able to communicate effectively with students, administrators, and academic staff
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
