**About the Role
The University of Oxford's Department of Social Policy and Intervention is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join its team. This role will involve managing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring compliance with university financial controls and policies.
The successful candidate will have experience in financial administration, including interpreting complex financial policies, and possess strong numeracy skills and attention to detail. They will be familiar with using accounting systems to extract data and have excellent general IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
We are looking for a strong team player who can organise their workload effectively and work towards monthly deadlines. The ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance colleagues at all levels is essential.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the department's financial management. You will be based in Oxford but may also work remotely up to 40% of the time.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
**Required Skills and Qualifications
