Job Summary

The successful applicant will join a small, dynamic advice team at Wandsworth Carers' Centre, offering expert advice and information to unpaid Carers in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on welfare benefits and other related issues to Carers.
  • Advocate on behalf of Carers and provide one-to-one support to ensure their needs are met.
  • Develop and deliver frontline services to meet the needs of Carers.
  • Supervise staff and contribute to the development of the advice team.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of the issues affecting Carers.
  • Experience of giving information and advice, particularly welfare benefits.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Commitment to working in the voluntary sector.

Working Arrangements

Full-time position (35 hours per week) with a competitive salary of £31,786.
