About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ambitious about Autism, a leading provider of education and care for children and young people with autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualized occupational therapy programs for students with autism and learning disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop targeted interventions to promote student progress and independence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, community groups, and employers to maximize opportunities for students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services across the organization.
Requirements
  • BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience working with children and young people with autism and learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy.
