Key Responsibilities:- Proactive Change Management: Manage and deliver specialist and complex change projects, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Expert Guidance: Provide professional guidance on complex service transformation, including organizational change, TUPE, redundancy, restructures, and early retirements, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practice.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess high-level risk options in relation to change, presenting these options in a clear and concise manner to enable informed decision-making.
- Policy Development: Take a lead role in developing policy in line with current legislation and best practice, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Trade Union Relations: Develop and maintain good working relationships with Trade Unions to resolve individual cases and facilitate effective consultation on people-related solutions.
- Employee Relations Performance: Interpret statistics, including Employee Relations performance indicators, to influence business planning, staff management, and decision-making across the area of responsibility.
- Employment Trends: Monitor trends in employment practices and advise on appropriate proactive action to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.
- Manager Development: Coach, train, and develop managers in best practice employee relations and softer skills, enhancing their ability to manage change effectively.
- CIPD Membership: Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is essential.
- Employee Relations Experience: Experience of employee relations in a unionized environment is required.
- Change Management Experience: Proven experience in change management is necessary to succeed in this role.
This is an interim assignment working via Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited until further notice. The successful candidate will be required to work from home with occasional visits to offices in Bournemouth for key meetings, induction, and engagement with managers.
