Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated SEND Case Work Officer to join our team at Kirklees Council. The successful candidate will have experience of SEN casework and be able to coordinate appropriate support in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysing information received to ensure statutory compliance within legislative requirements
  • Producing high-quality EHC plans through effective person-centred planning and analysis of information from various sources
  • Transferring knowledge and skills into diverse situations and anticipating issues and situations
  • Utilising IT skills to support effective and accurate case recording and casework

About the Team

You will be joining a team at an exciting time as we look to develop our ways of working and improve our person-centred approach to supporting children, young people, their families, in partnership with services across education, health and care.
