Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to join our specialist SEMH outreach team and further their career in SEND. As a member of our team, you will deliver extensive outreach support and training to mainstream schools within Kirklees, promoting inclusion and achieving the best outcomes for children and young people with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment, planning, and implementation of successful support for children and young people with SEMH needs
  • Promoting inclusion and supporting teaching and support staff across mainstream schools in Kirklees
  • Securing learning outcomes that are meaningful to the child/young person and contribute to improving wider outcomes
  • Building strong working relationships with mainstream school colleagues, developing links with outside agencies, and working in partnership with parents and carers
  • Flexible and adaptable, with strong team player skills
  • Committed to the safeguarding of all children and young people
What We Offer

The estimated salary for this role is £38,959 - £54,609, depending on experience. This position also includes enhancements up to £5,285 pro rata. A full driver's licence and access to a car or ability to travel independently across Kirklees are essential.
