Commerce Strategy Director Job Description

Publicis Media is seeking a skilled Commerce Strategy Director to drive commerce strategies and lead transformation for esteemed UK clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client discussions as the primary face of Publicis Commerce, showcasing passion and expertise.
  • Develop and implement retail strategies to drive client growth, leveraging digital shelf eContent and analytics.
  • Upskill client stakeholders on key commerce topics and devise innovative retailer collaboration strategies.
  • Identify business challenges and customer pain points, developing frameworks and integrating commerce data for strategic decision-making.
  • Advise clients on digital shelf eContent, analytics, retail media, and business capabilities.
  • Support internal upskilling on key topics and emerging trends, fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Identify gaps in our proposition and work with relevant leads to develop new solutions and commercial models.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Methodical and adaptable individual with experience in running commerce campaigns at Associate Director or Account Director level.
  • Deep understanding of the commerce landscape and expertise from demonstrable experience in digital retailing.
  • Experience beyond campaign management, including business planning, product portfolio management, and data insights.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
