Associate Director - Recovery

Maxim Recruitment is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their team in London. As a key member of the recovery team, you will be responsible for providing clients with a pre-emptive and independent understanding of root causes and primary risks where the project is suffering from, or likely to experience distress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver optimal recovery and resolution strategies and measures.
  • Lead the development of a contract and commercial strategy to successfully recover performance of distressed projects or major programmes.
  • Review and assess contemporaneous project records to establish quantum associated with claims and/or disputes.
  • Conduct quantum forensic analysis of tender, contract, and claims documentation.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively, including clients and supply-chain partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or a similar degree in construction.
  • Master's degree in applicable construction specialism, highly preferable a construction law LLM or similar.
