About the Role

The Clinical Administrator will work closely with a multidisciplinary team at The Spinney to provide administrative support and contribute to the smooth running of the service.

With 22.5 hours per week, this role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a new administration role in a healthcare setting. You will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing diaries, planning meetings, and updating records, as well as assisting with confidential paperwork and liaising with external agencies.

About Your Responsibilities
  • Support Registered Clinicians with letters and general documentation
  • Support all meetings as minute taker as requested chaired by the Medical Director, SMT or ad hoc
  • Receive and record typing, checking, and amending for spelling and grammatical errors, completing within given deadlines
  • Participate in the administration, development, and evaluation of regulatory matters
  • Co-ordinate the hospital diary and the whereabouts of the clinicians
  • Book in meetings
  • Arrange Conference Calls

About You
  • A minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent
  • IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Experience of audio typing
  • Communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of mental health and medications
