Emotional Support Worker Role

We are seeking a caring and dedicated individual to provide emotional support and daily living assistance to an individual with a learning disability in Baldock.

Job Summary:

This role involves working closely with the individual to develop and maintain a supportive relationship, providing emotional support and daily living assistance, and driving the individual as required using a manual car.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional support and daily living assistance to the individual
  • Work collaboratively with the individual to develop a supportive relationship
  • Assist with daily activities and provide emotional support
  • Drive the individual as required using a manual car
Essential Skills:
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities
