Job Description

As a Grocery National Account Executive at Lotus Bakeries, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with key customers across multiple channels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business and promotional plans with key customers to maximize sales of our products during key trading periods.
  • Manage the profit and loss (P&L) of assigned accounts and deliver value, volume, and profit targets.
  • Build cross-functional relationships with key customer contacts, including buying, supply, trade planners, and shopper marketing teams.
  • Manage day-to-day activities, including new line setup, EPOS and invoice tracking using retailer systems.
  • Work closely with the supply and operations teams to ensure accurate customer forecasts, including new launches, base, promo, and feature activity.
  • Collaborate with the category team to develop engaging sell-in stories for new products and ranging and distribution opportunities.
  • Work with the shopper marketing team to create innovative and engaging display and feature in stores and online.
  • Visit stores regularly to ensure activity is executed and to review retailer and competitor trends.
  • Support the Sales Team with weekly reporting and maintaining key documents for the wider business.
Requirements
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of delivering business results.
  • Numerate with a good understanding of P&Ls and margins.
  • Strong selling skills to win and influence buyers and internal teams.
  • Good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter who seeks out new opportunities for the accounts and the business.
  • Highly motivated with a passion for retail and food.
  • A great relationship builder with a collaborative attitude towards working with customers.
  • A natural fit for the team with a degree-level education.
