Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)

We are dedicated to transforming perceptions of waste management.

Your role will involve the upkeep and repair of vehicles and waste management equipment to comply with health and safety regulations and DVSA standards.

You will also perform scheduled preventative maintenance and service inspections to fulfill Biffa's operator's licence obligations. Our fleet includes everything from light commercial vans to 44-ton articulated specialist vehicles, providing a diverse range of opportunities to enhance and expand your technical expertise.

We seek professionals who may have previously held positions such as PSV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Technician, Lorry Mechanic, LGV Technician, HGV Technician, or HGV Mechanic.

If you are a skilled or semi-skilled Technician, we would still love to hear from you as we can offer upskilling and career development.

Requirements

Fully qualified with a level 3 HGV / PSV apprenticeship qualification/City and Guilds Qualification/NVQ Qualification. Technician level. Must possess at least a car/van driving licence. HGV licence is desirable. IRTEC Qualification is desirable.
