Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)

Your role will involve the upkeep and repair of vehicles and waste management equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and DVSA standards.

You will also perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections to uphold Biffa's operator's licence obligations. Our diverse fleet includes everything from light commercial vehicles to 44-tonne articulated trucks, providing ample opportunities for you to enhance your technical skills.

We are seeking individuals with experience in roles such as PSV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Technician, Lorry Mechanic, LGV Technician, HGV Technician, or HGV Mechanic.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified with a level 3 HGV / PSV apprenticeship qualification or equivalent (City and Guilds/NVQ).
  • Technician level experience.
  • A valid car/van driving licence is required.
  • HGV licence is preferred.
  • IRTEC Qualification is advantageous.
