Dementia Care Specialist

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and compassionate support worker to join our team in Aldbrough. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing person-centered care to a gentleman with early onset frontal lobe dementia, promoting his physical and emotional well-being through engaging activities and support.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement activities that cater to the service user's interests and needs, including outings to local attractions and nature reserves.
• Assist with daily living tasks, such as household chores and personal care, to maintain the individual's independence and dignity.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the service user receives the best possible care and support.
• Maintain accurate records and reports to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
• A valid driving license and reliable vehicle for transportation purposes.
• Enhanced DBS clearance check.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with the service user, their family, and other stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits:
