Perth and Kinross Council is seeking a Support Services Coordinator to join their Gleneagles Day Opportunities Team.

The role involves working creatively to support individuals with learning disabilities to realise their full potential in their communities.

You will support and enable individuals to access and participate in a variety of group activities within community and building-based settings to work towards their identified outcomes.

A key aspect of this role is communicating effectively to build relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and other internal/external agencies to ensure a quality care provision.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with vulnerable adults who have learning and/or physical disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and other varied needs.

You will be required to support individuals with varied needs, including potentially supporting stressed/distressed behaviours and intimate personal care needs.

As a Support Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for undertaking link worker duties which include file maintenance, coordinating and chairing reviews, formulating and developing personal plans to meet specified and future outcomes.

You should have good digital skills to operate relevant electronic systems to carry out the above tasks while ensuring the integrity of data and appropriate security.

Influencing the way we work with each other as well as the people and communities we serve is crucial to this role.

Successful candidates will have access to training and support for continued professional development.

This role comes with a salary range of £26,766 - £29,161 per annum, depending on experience.
