Salary: £19 per hour

About the Job

We are looking for a Relief Support Practitioner to join our team at Perth & Kinross Housing & Support Service. As a Relief Support Practitioner, you will work with adults who have a wide range of support needs, providing practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives.

The service operates Monday to Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm, with core hours being Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.

You will be required to use an outcomes-focused approach working with individuals for approximately 6-9 months to achieve mutually agreed outcomes and ultimately preventing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support to adults within their own homes.
  • Work collaboratively with individuals to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives.
  • Ensure that support is tailored to each individual's needs.
Requirements

No previous working experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. However, we do require that you possess the following skills and qualities:
