Industrial Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Officer to join our team at the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS). As an Industrial Officer, you will play a key role in promoting the union's bargaining, campaigning, and organising agenda, and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build union power and improve the lives of our members.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement bargaining and campaigning strategies to achieve union objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with members, activists, and employers to promote union interests
- Provide advice and support to members on industrial relations and employment rights
- Contribute to the development of PCS policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other union representatives and staff to achieve shared goals
- Proven experience in industrial relations, bargaining, and campaigning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of employment rights and industrial relations legislation
- Commitment to the values and principles of the PCS
