Job Title: Industrial Officer

Join the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) as an Industrial Officer and play a key role in building union power and promoting the interests of PCS members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement bargaining strategies to achieve better pay and conditions for PCS members
  • Organise and lead campaigns to promote PCS policies and objectives
  • Provide advice and support to members on equality and discrimination issues
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers and other stakeholders to promote PCS interests
  • Contribute to the development of PCS policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Experience of trade union work, particularly in bargaining and campaigning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of employment law and industrial relations
  • Commitment to the principles of equality and diversity
