Job Title: Industrial Officer

Join the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) as an Industrial Officer and play a key role in building union power and promoting the interests of PCS members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement bargaining strategies to achieve PCS objectives
  • Represent PCS members in negotiations with employers and government agencies
  • Organise and lead campaigns to promote PCS policies and interests
  • Provide advice and support to PCS members on employment rights and equality issues
  • Build and maintain relationships with PCS members, activists, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Experience in industrial relations, bargaining, and campaigning
  • Strong understanding of employment rights, equality legislation, and trade union law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to the values and principles of the PCS
