Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Railway Ticket Inspector to join our team at Southeastern Railway. As a key member of our revenue protection team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our railway system.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect passengers' tickets and collect fares from those who haven't paid
  • Work on our gatelines, assisting station colleagues with ticket checks
  • Participate in our Passenger Services Apprenticeship Programme

About the Role

As a Railway Ticket Inspector, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, plus benefits including a final salary pension and 28 days annual leave allowance. You will work a varied shift pattern, including weekends, bank holidays, and nights, with shifts starting as early as 6:00am or finishing at 21:00pm.

  • Lived within a 45-minute travel time of the location you're applying for
  • Be able to work on your feet and be ready to work whatever the weather
