Exciting Opportunity for a Field Service Engineer

Our client, a leading scientific company in South Manchester, is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to their new and existing customers by building and maintaining strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, upgrades, compliance testing, and training for customers across the UK and overseas.
  2. Ensure all service contract work is performed efficiently and in line with the scope of the agreement, focusing on resolving critical issues promptly.
  3. Maintain accurate records of onsite activities through detailed reports and expense claims.
  4. Provide onsite support for IRMS and EA products globally.
  5. Conduct testing of upgrades and repairs at the factory.
Requirements:
  1. A degree in a scientific field or relevant experience.
  2. Strong technical background and familiarity with scientific tools and technologies.
  3. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites within the UK and internationally.
