As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist dietetic interventions to patients with complex allergy needs.

Our team is part of the largest NHS acute trust in England, providing several tertiary paediatric services, including Surgery, Cystic Fibrosis, Gastroenterology, Allergy, Neonatology, Neurology, Diabetes, and PCCU.

In this role, you will work alongside 2 other Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitians, 4 Consultants, and 4 CNSs, providing specialist outpatient clinics.

We are looking for a dietitian with at least three years of clinical experience, preferably in paediatrics, and a strong background in allergy management.

Key responsibilities:

* Provide specialist dietetic interventions to patients with complex allergy needs
* Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Conduct skin prick testing and adrenaline injector training
* Develop and maintain allergy management plans

**Person Specification**

* HCPC registered
* In-depth knowledge in Allergy and paediatrics
* Qualification in Paediatrics or Allergy or evidence of significant experience in these areas

**Experience**

* Significant experience working in Nutrition and Dietetics and experience within acute paediatrics
* Experience of delivering undergraduate student supervision and clinical education to graduate standard in area of speciality
* Experience of supervision of junior members of clinical staff
* Experience of undertaking skin prick testing, adrenaline injector training, allergy management plan
