Job Opportunity: Diabetes Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diabetes Dietitian to join our team at The Diabetes Times. This is an exciting opportunity for a dietitian to develop their clinical leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality diabetes services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based dietetic advice to adults with diabetes, including carbohydrate counting education, insulin pump therapy, and continuous glucose monitoring.
  • Deliver diabetes group education, including DAFNE and carbohydrate counting sessions, both virtually and face-to-face.
  • Support the Team Lead in monitoring, developing, and evolving the dietetic service.
  • Provide support to junior members of the team and contribute to clinical and service development projects.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication, organisational, team working, and leadership skills.
  • Passion for diabetes care and a commitment to providing high-quality evidence-based services.
  • Ability to work closely with other diabetes dietitians within the Trust and lead on clinical and service development projects.
