Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diabetes Dietitian to join our team at The Diabetes Times. This is an exciting opportunity for a dietitian to develop their clinical leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality dietetic services to adults with diabetes.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based dietetic advice to adults with diabetes, including carbohydrate counting education, insulin pump therapy, and continuous glucose monitoring. They will also be required to deliver diabetes group education, including DAFNE and carbohydrate counting sessions, both virtually and face-to-face.

As a senior member of the dietetic team, the successful candidate will support the Team Lead in monitoring, developing, and evolving the dietetic service. They will also provide support to junior members of the team and contribute to clinical and service development projects.

We are looking for a dietitian with strong communication, organisational, team working, and leadership skills, with a passion for diabetes care. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with other diabetes dietitians within the Trust and lead on clinical and service development projects.
