Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietitian to join our team at The Diabetes Times. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to develop their clinical leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality diabetes care services.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based dietetic advice to adults with diabetes, with a focus on carbohydrate counting education, insulin pump therapy, and continuous glucose monitoring. They will work closely with the Diabetes Dietitians within the Trust to lead on clinical and service development projects, and will be expected to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organisational, team working, and leadership skills, with a passion for diabetes care and a commitment to delivering high-quality services. They will be responsible for supporting the Team Lead in monitoring, developing, and evolving the dietetic service, and will be expected to provide support to junior members of the team.

We are looking for a Dietitian who is focused on providing a high-quality dietetic service that is responsive to the changing needs of the NHS and this patient group. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the other Diabetes Dietitians within the Trust to lead on clinical and service development projects, and will be responsible for seeking opportunities within the MDT to lead on service improvement, audit, and research.
