About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Dietitian for Adult Diabetes, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services to patients across a range of specialist areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high-quality, evidence-based Nutrition and Dietetic service to patients in the inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory care setting.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Act as a source of dietary expertise for colleagues and other healthcare professionals across the organisation.
  • Contribute to the Trust's Clinical Governance programme by participating in audits, developing and implementing evidence-based guidelines, protocols, and policies.
  • Support the student training programme by providing supervision and guidance to student dietitians.

Person Specification
  • Four-year degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent.
  • HCPC registered.
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and delivering high-quality, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
