Hunter Mental Health is recruiting a highly skilled Locum Senior Child and Family Therapist to join their Children's team on a locum basis.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience and be able to provide exceptional support to children and young people in care. They will possess excellent engagement and direct working skills, with a strong ability to work methodically and organise their time effectively to ensure improved outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality social work services to children and young people in care
  • Engaging with children and young people, their families, and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans that address the needs of children and young people
  • Working collaboratively with other agencies to provide a cohesive service

Requirements:

  • Current and valid registration with the Social Work England (SWE) register
  • Proven experience working within a social work role, ideally with children and young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Benefits:
