Family Support Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Coordinator to join our team at Swan Family Centres Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising family time between children and their birth families at our contact centres and within the community.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete detailed recordings of observations made during sessions and collaborate with social workers as required.
- Contribute to a child-focused, creative, and supportive team environment.
- Transport and escort children and young people as necessary.
- Observe and supervise contact between children, young persons, and parents, including other family members.
- Manage risks and intervene when necessary to safeguard children.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach. A Level 3 qualification in Childcare is essential, and a current DBS is required. A driving licence and access to a car are desirable but not essential.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour. The role involves working variable shifts, including weekends, and requires flexibility to meet the needs of our service users.
