Family Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Male Bank Children & Family Support Worker to join our team. Your role will involve providing vital support to children and families, helping them navigate life's challenges and build resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored support to children and families, addressing specific needs and circumstances.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, fostering trust and understanding.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support, coordinating efforts to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices, participating in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of support work experience preferred; previous experience with children and young people is essential.
  • Qualifications: GCSEs/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care required; Safeguarding Level 2 certification essential.
  • Ability to work with children who have challenging behaviour.
  • Licenses/Certifications: A valid driving license and access to a car preferred; ability to travel extensively is necessary.

Salary: Estimated salary based on the job title, location, and requirements is £32,000-£42,000 per annum.
