Care and Support Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced care and support manager to join our team at Thyme Lodge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support services to individuals with a learning disability or mental health diagnosis.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing adult care services and will be able to demonstrate their ability to lead by example, promoting a culture of respect and dignity. You will be responsible for developing and implementing care plans that meet individual needs and preferences, as well as fostering positive relationships with guests, families, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support services
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet individual needs and preferences
  • Foster positive relationships with guests, families, and external agencies
  • Monitor and evaluate service quality, making recommendations for improvement

Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification in social care or related field
  • Experience in managing adult care services
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage competing priorities
