**Salary:** £38,000 - £43,000 per annum
**Job Description:**
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to undertake a range of tasks, including child and family assessments, developing support plans, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective discharge of Local Authority Statutory duties in relation to children in need, protection, looked after children, and adoptive placements.
Main areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
- Conducting child and family assessments to identify strengths, needs, and risks;
- Developing and implementing personalized support plans to promote positive outcomes;
- Collaborating with colleagues, partners, and agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services;
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
We are seeking a qualified and experienced social worker who possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification (e.g., BA/BSc in Social Work) and possess a valid registration with the HCPC. They will also have experience working with vulnerable children and families, ideally within a statutory setting.
