Job Title: Registered Manager - Residential Care

We are recruiting for an experienced and quality-focused Registered Manager for a residential care home for older people based in the Exeter area. The home is a beautiful small-sized home including many residents who have dementia.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy of older people or dementia care homes, with strong staff management skills and excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality person-centred care to residents.
  • Ensure the home meets CQC standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of residents.
  • Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management/Registered Managers Award/NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Preferred).

  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation, and regulatory requirements.
