About the Role

  • We are seeking a passionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Professional in Exeter.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar Social Care setting, and hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
  • You will be responsible for supporting the children and young people in all day-to-day activities and interests, promoting their independence and wellbeing, and attending weekend and evening activities to support their interests.
  • As a key member of our team, you will also be expected to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines, protect the children and young people from any risks to their health and welfare, and provide emotional and practical support to those in your care.

About You

  • To succeed in this role, you will need a desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people, an empathetic and caring nature, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • As a Children's Residential Support Professional, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care and support services.
  • In return, we offer a competitive salary of £13.38-£26.76 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay, and a range of benefits including free food while on shift, variety of work in different social care and healthcare settings, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
