Debt Management Specialist

At North Munster MABS, we are seeking a Debt Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and guidance to individuals struggling with debt.
About the Role:
This is a part-time position that requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and empathy. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer debt, money management, and financial services. They will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to clients, negotiating with creditors on their behalf, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement effective strategies to support clients in managing their debt and improving their financial well-being.
- To provide expert advice and guidance on money management, consumer debt, and financial services.
- To negotiate with creditors on behalf of clients, ensuring that their interests are represented and protected.
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress.
- To work effectively as part of a small team, contributing to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- A recognized third-level qualification in a relevant field, such as finance, law, or social science.
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in consumer debt, money management, or financial services.
- Demonstrated expertise in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- A strong awareness of quality customer service principles and practices.
