Job Description

This role involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in the community setting.

The post constitutes a 50% delivery of occupational therapy interventions and a 50% care coordination/lead professional for people with occupational needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individual and group occupational therapy interventions within a clear care pathway
  • Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments using the Model of Human Occupation
  • Care coordinating service users with an occupational therapy focus and being part of the assessment team

The ideal candidate will have experience working in mental health, be creative, and committed to lifelong learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires:

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes
  • An Occupational Therapy professional qualification (HCPC)
  • Experience of using relevant occupational therapy assessments and implementing interventions
