We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities- Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning to service users, ensuring they receive the necessary support to achieve their goals.
- Develop and deliver structured content within group settings, promoting social reintegration and enabling service users to lead meaningful lives.
- Collaborate with co-facilitators to review progress, identify concerns, and tailor workshops to meet the needs of service users.
- Work closely with service users to promote recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
- Engage with service users to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm and promote carer, service user, and community involvement.
We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working within a similar field. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of professionals and stakeholders.
You will be proactive, able to work on your own initiative, and possess excellent time management and prioritizing skills. A good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice is essential.
