About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Alcohol Recovery Worker to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning to service users
  • Offer advocacy for access to partnership services
  • Deliver motivational interviewing and substance awareness sessions
  • Support service users in achieving social reintegration and promoting recovery, resilience, and self-determination
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
About You:

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and/or experience working in a similar field. You will be an excellent communicator with good IT skills, proactive, and able to work on your own initiative. A good working knowledge of mental health interventions and services is also essential.
