Job Title: Deputy Manager - Residential Childcare

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a leading provider of residential childcare services. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in the management of the home, including staff supervision and training
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people
  • Ensure the home is run in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in residential childcare, preferably in a management capacity
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and company policies
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
